ByeCutWhich devices does ByeCut support?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later, from the App Store. Newer devices process captions, background removal and 4K exports faster.
Why do I need to sign in?
ByeCut uses Sign in with Apple to keep your free AI edit and any plan with you on every device. It only receives your Apple account ID (never your name), and only a relay email if Apple sends one.
AI Edit didn't cut something I wanted removed. What can I do?
After applying the cut, every edit point is on the timeline, so you can split and delete the section by hand. Pasting your script before running AI Edit also improves line matching.
Where are my projects stored?
On your iPhone. You can optionally turn on iCloud sync, or export a project backup file from the app.
How do I restore my subscription on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and use Restore Purchases from ByeCut's paywall or settings.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
Delete projects inside the app, or delete the app to remove all local data. To delete your account, go to Settings → Account in the app. You can also remove ByeCut's access in your Apple Account under Sign in with Apple.
How do I report a bug?
In the app, go to Settings → Report a Problem. You can add your contact details and device information if you'd like us to follow up, or email us directly.
